Happy Wednesday Magical Creatures!
I’ve been so busy the past week and a half, I’ve barely had time to even THINK about writing about a blog post. Now the wedding is over, and things are slowing down.
My first week and a half in Charleston has been a whirlwind! I’ve learned so much, have met so many amazing people, and have really settled into the feel of the city.
First off, I need to nature geek out about the clouds on the plane ride here. I took about 50 pictures, but I picked one to show you guys.
I arrived to find my new digs, already prepared to house a Unicorn Queen.
A big thanks to my Aunt, Uncle and Cousins for the warm welcome. Oh yeah, and see that pretty little box?
A tiny unicorn with a tiny gold horn to wear around my neck. Perfection ensues.
I have every thing that I need…
…and of course a couple of things that I don’t need. Again, thanks to my fam.
Of course, you should meet my two favorite girls.
This is Izzy. All she wants you to do is pet her. In return she gives you kisses.
This is Ellie. She is the ghost of the forest. Except she doesn’t live in a forest.
Of course, also the wedding happened. The rehearsal dinner was at Kitchen 208.
The wedding day was super windy, but the weather was perfect. The ceremony took place on the main deck at the South Carolina Aquarium. Aly was an incredibly beautiful bride.
Things got a little bit emotional. Just a bit.
The lighting wasn’t great for photos, but I appreciate my brother snapping a few!
It was literally the most magical ceremony.
I know a few of you were probably a bit worried about my speech at the reception, but don’t worry. I only cried through the last 3/4 of it. Pretty good for me, I think.
Some very quality fam time happened, including the taking of ridiculous photos while exploring the aquarium. The whole thing was ours for the reception!
Reid and I found a giant eagles nest to rest in for a while.
The wedding was four days ago today, and all the bouquets are sitting in the kitchen.
I also had my first day of work on Tuesday! I’m so excited to join the Charming Inns family, they are an incredible bunch of people.
That’s all I have for you today, children of the moon.
I now have to go get a real job that pays real money. Wish me luck!
Also, I know you won’t believe this, but I kind of have a tan.
Glitter and Rainbows,
